2019 iNano Spring Workshop: Quantum
May 2, 2019
The greater Chicago area has one of the highest concentrations of nanoscale fabrication and characterization research infrastructure in the world. This iNANO workshop series is designed to bring together users, staff, and industry from across our region to enhance cooperation and collaboration. The theme of this workshop is quantum and will cover new research areas and tools related to quantum science, including advanced materials characterization. Hosted By: Soft and Hybrid Nanotechnology Experimental (SHyNE) Resource at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago in collaboration with the Chicago Quantum Exchange
Jun. 24 – 27, 2019
Mark your calendars for the Tenth International School and Conference on Spintronics and Quantum Information Technology. Taking place in Chicago, Illinois from June 24 to June 28, 2019, SpintechX will highlight fundamental physical phenomena related to spin-dependent effects in condensed matter while also drawing attention to recent advances in the development of new spintronic materials, structures, and devices, including those related to quantum information science. The school will take place during the first half of the week to orient students and newcomers to this emerging field, followed by a conference aimed at stimulating progress in new materials, measurement, and theory of spintronic systems.
